Business Coaching & Strategic Consulting

You Don’t Need More Advice. You Need the Right Perspective.

Your business may already be working. But that doesn’t mean you’ve uncovered everything it could become.

Maybe there’s an opportunity you haven’t recognized yet. An offer that could be stronger. A smarter way to use what you’ve already built. Something that needs to be simplified—or something you need to stop doing altogether.

Sometimes the hardest part of running a business isn’t coming up with more ideas. It’s seeing which possibilities are worth pursuing.

I work with established business owners to look at the whole picture, uncover what may be hiding in plain sight and turn the best opportunities into practical next moves.

    Sue Bonzell coaching session

Running the Business Doesn’t Always Leave Much Room to Step Back and Look at It.

You’re the one making decisions, solving problems and thinking about what comes next. When you’re in the middle of it every day, it can be hard to separate what feels urgent from what actually matters—or to see opportunities beyond what you’re already doing.

    Too Many Possibilities

You have ideas, opportunities and things you could pursue, but you’re not sure which ones are worth your time, money and attention.

    Something Isn’t Working

You know something needs to change, but the obvious solution may not be the real solution.

    You Know There’s More

The business is working, but you have a sense there’s more potential in what you’ve already built.

You Need Someone to Talk It Through With

You’re used to being the person everyone comes to for answers. Sometimes you need an experienced outside perspective to ask good questions, challenge your thinking and help you see things differently.

Sometimes you need strategy. Sometimes you need a different perspective. And sometimes you need someone to say:
“Wait...have you thought about what you could do with THAT?”

    Strategy session

Sometimes You Need Someone Else to See What You Can’t See Yet.

When you’re running a business every day, it isn’t always easy to see the bigger picture—or recognize the opportunities that may already be right in front of you.

That’s one of my favorite parts of this work.

You might come to me with a problem you’re trying to solve, an idea you’re not sure what to do with, or simply the feeling that there’s more potential in your business than you’re currently tapping into.

We’ll talk it through. I’ll ask questions. I’ll listen. I’ll challenge you when I think you need it. I’ll share what I’m seeing and bring more than 20 years of business, marketing and media experience to the conversation.

Sometimes we’ll uncover something that needs to be fixed.

Sometimes we’ll simplify something that has become way more complicated than it needs to be.

Sometimes I’ll tell you I don’t think you should spend money on the thing you thought you needed.

And sometimes you’ll say one thing that makes me stop and ask:

“Wait. Have you thought about what you could do with that?”

I’m not here to make your business decisions for you.

I’m here to help you see more clearly, think differently, recognize what’s possible and have the confidence to move forward.

What If There’s More Here Than You Realize?

One of my favorite things to hear from a client is:

“I never thought about it that way.”

Because sometimes the opportunity isn’t something completely new. It’s already there.

It might be expertise you haven’t packaged, an offer that could work differently, a relationship that could become a partnership, a story that could open a speaking opportunity, a process that could become a product—or something you’re already doing that could create revenue in a way you hadn’t considered.

I’m always listening for those possibilities.

Not because every idea needs to become another project. Quite the opposite. The goal is to recognize what has real potential and decide whether it belongs in the bigger vision for your business.

    You may not need MORE.
You may need to see MORE in what you already have.

What Changes When You Have the Right Support

The goal isn’t simply to leave a coaching call knowing what to do next. I want you to understand your business better, feel confident about what you’re building and get excited about where it could go.

    See More Possibility

Start recognizing opportunities, connections and potential in the business you may not have seen before.

    Know What Deserves Your Attention

Separate the opportunities worth pursuing from all the things you could be doing.

Feel More Confident in What You Offer

Get clearer about what you sell, why it matters and why someone should want it—so talking about and selling your business feels more natural.

    Simplify the Business

Remove unnecessary complexity and build a business that works without requiring every bit of your time and attention.

    Turn Ideas Into Action

Move promising ideas out of your head and into practical tests, decisions and next steps.

    Get Excited About What’s Next

Build toward a bigger vision that could include greater profitability, new opportunities and more meaningful work—without creating a business that takes over your life.

    Marketing strategy workspace

I Want You to Be Excited to Talk About Your Business.

Not because you memorized the perfect elevator pitch.

Because you’re clear about what you offer, why it matters, who it helps and where you want to take it.

That kind of clarity changes the way you talk about your business. It changes the way you sell. And it changes the confidence you bring into the opportunities in front of you.

Confidence isn’t the starting point. It grows when you get clear, take action and see progress.

    The FAST Method

FAST isn’t about rushing. It’s about spending less time, money and energy on the wrong things.

    F

    Find the Real Issue

We start with the problem, question, idea or opportunity and dig far enough to understand what’s really going on before jumping to a solution.

    A

    Assess What’s Already There

We look across the business—offers, customers, profitability, marketing, systems, capacity, opportunities and what you actually want the business to become.

    S

    Simplify the Path

We determine what matters now, what can wait, what may need to change and where your attention can make the biggest difference.

    T

    Take the Next Right Action

We turn insight into action. Then we learn from what happens, adjust and determine the next move.

    This isn’t a rigid curriculum.

Your business determines what we work on.

One conversation may involve an offer or customer journey. Another may involve marketing, systems, profitability, leadership, technology, a new opportunity—or an idea you haven’t quite figured out yet.

We follow what the business needs.

Every Coaching Relationship Starts With Your Business.

I don’t walk in assuming you need more marketing, a new website, another offer, new software or a specific system.

First, I want to understand what you’re trying to accomplish, what you enjoy doing, what’s working, what isn’t, what you’re excited about and where you want the business to go.

Then we figure out what actually deserves your attention.

The Thinking Behind How I Coach:

    Find the real issue.
    Assess what’s already there.
    Simplify the path.
    Take the next right action.

Not Sure Which Level of Support Is Right for You?

You don’t need to figure that out before we talk.

Tell me what’s happening in your business, where you want to go and what kind of support you think you need.

We’ll talk it through and determine whether REFINE, BUILD or ADVANCE makes sense—or whether I think you need something else entirely.

Strategy First. Implementation When It Makes Sense.

Sometimes the next move is something you can implement yourself.

Sometimes you may need specialized help.

Because my background includes marketing, branding, websites, email, content, video and creative strategy, I can help you determine what kind of implementation actually makes sense—and in some cases Bonzell Media may be able to provide it.

    Sue Bonzell

    Meet Sue Bonzell

I’ve spent more than 20 years working across business, marketing and media, and I’ve been an entrepreneur myself since 2008.

The value of that experience isn’t that I have a formula for your business. It’s that I’ve seen a lot.

I’ve watched ideas work. I’ve watched them fail. I’ve seen businesses evolve, marketing change, technology change, customer behavior change and opportunities show up in unexpected places.

All of that becomes part of what I bring to the conversation when we’re looking at your business.

Sometimes experience helps me recognize a problem sooner. And sometimes it helps me recognize an opportunity you didn’t know was an opportunity yet.

But experience is only part of what I bring to coaching.

    I’m curious.

I ask a lot of questions because I want to understand not only what is happening in your business, but what YOU want from it.

What do you love doing? What are you tired of doing? What makes money? What isn’t working anymore? What ideas keep coming back? What are you excited about? And what would you build if you stopped assuming you had to do it the way everyone else does?

I’ll encourage you, but I’ll also challenge you.

I’ll tell you when I think you’re overcomplicating something, holding onto something that isn’t working or spending money where I don’t think you need to.

And when I see an opportunity you may not have noticed yet, I’m probably going to get pretty excited about it.

    You know your business.

My job is to help you see it from a different perspective—and help you build what comes next.

    There’s More Possible Here.

You’ve already built something worth building on.

Maybe the next step is refining what you have. Maybe it’s building something new. Maybe it’s finally pursuing an opportunity you’ve been thinking about—or recognizing one you didn’t see before.

You don’t have to have the whole path figured out.

Get clear. Take the next step. Learn from it. Adjust. Keep going.

And build a business you’re genuinely excited about.
